"If We Can Teach Everyone To Read,
We Can Teach Everyone Absolutely Everything."
If our society can insure that everyone knows how to read,
our society has the capacity to insure that everyone can learn absolutely anything.
====
Give an adult any of their old high school tests and see if they can pass.
Almost guaranteed they cannot.
Did they learn anything in high school?
No.
Do nearly all adults have the same skill-set as a 5th or 6th grader?
Yes.
So what was the purpose of the additional 6 years of schooling?
Make-work.
Busywork.
Sham-education.
Unacceptable.
Absolutely unacceptable.
Life is short.
There is so much to learn.
Children trust adults to know what they're doing.
Wasting children's childhood in such a manner is unacceptable.
We must develop a better way to teach,
and the SECRET lies in HOW we are able to insure that everyone learns how to read.
